The Lynk & Co 10+, a new high-performance electric sedan, has been officially unveiled in China as a sportier evolution of the existing Z10 model. Set to launch in the domestic market soon, the 10+ boasts aggressive styling and a staggering 912 horsepower, marking a significant step up in power.

Key Specifications and Design

The Lynk & Co 10+ distinguishes itself with a comprehensive exterior upgrade. This includes redesigned bumpers, prominent side skirts, and a substantial rear spoiler for enhanced aerodynamics. Other key design elements include flush, semi-hidden door handles, frameless side mirrors, a LiDAR sensor integrated into the roofline, and large 21-inch wheels.

The car measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,966 mm in width, and 1,468 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,005 mm. While precise drag coefficient figures remain undisclosed, the aggressive design suggests a focus on performance.

Advanced Driver Assistance System

The 10+ will feature the G-Pilot H5 assisted driving system, leveraging a sophisticated sensor suite. This includes LiDAR technology, three millimeter-wave radars, 11 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors, all powered by an Nvidia Drive Orin chip capable of 254 TOPS (trillions of operations per second). This suggests a high level of autonomous driving capability.

Power and Performance

The powertrain is the most notable aspect of the Lynk & Co 10+. It utilizes dual electric motors supplied by Geely-owned Quzhou Jidian Electric Vehicle Technology. The front motor delivers 310 kW (416 hp), while the rear unit generates 370 kW (496 hp). Combined, they produce an impressive 680 kW (912 hp). This same motor combination is currently found in the latest Zeekr 001 model, indicating a shared technology base.

Although acceleration figures haven’t been officially released, the 10+ is projected to reach 100 km/h in approximately 2.8 seconds – slightly faster than the 2.91 seconds achieved by the heavier Zeekr 001. The car’s top speed is limited to 240 km/h. It weighs 2,287 kg.

Battery and Range

Battery details remain unconfirmed, but it’s likely the 10+ will adopt battery packs similar to those offered in the Zeekr 001. This includes options for 95 kWh LFP and 103 kWh ternary NMC batteries, both compatible with a 900V high-voltage system.

Broader Lynk & Co 10 Lineup

Alongside the high-performance 10+ variant, Lynk & Co will also release a standard 10 model. The base model will feature a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 300 kW (402 hp), with a top speed of 220 km/h. A more powerful version will offer 370 kW (496 hp) and a 240 km/h top speed.

The current Lynk & Co Z10 offers power options ranging from 200 to 580 kW (268 to 778 hp). It provides two LFP battery options (71 kWh and 95 kWh) and delivers a CLTC-rated range of 602 to 806 km. The Z10 is priced between 186,800 and 229,800 yuan (approximately $27,125 to $33,370 USD). However, sales figures suggest the Z10 has been among Lynk & Co’s least popular models, with only 11,510 units delivered to date.

The Lynk & Co 10+ represents a clear push towards higher performance within the brand’s electric vehicle lineup. The aggressive design and powerful dual-motor setup signal a focus on attracting buyers who prioritize speed and driving experience.
